Airborne Communication System Any communication capabilities in the Aircraft will be "carry-on" equipment only, and can include broadband communication, custom microwave links and satellite communications. SkyFusionPak™ can be adapted to work with any customer furnished communication system. In areas with 3G cellular coverage, a network card in the laptop connects to a 3G/EVDO-enabled smart phone or to a computer on the ground. |

Ground Station SkyFusionPak™ provides a ground station system for real-time communications with ground operations. The ground station is comprised of a tracking antenna with microwave link and wireless laptop configured to receive streaming video or still images from the aircraft. Once on the ground, images can be sent to multiple locations via satellite or secure broadband link if public networks are available. Systems can be configured with or without the ground station, depending on user requirements or application. |

| Mission Management System | ||
| The SkyFusionPak™ Flight Management System combines pre-flight, in-flight and post-flight operations into a single, integrated, user-friendly experience for pilots or operators. The pilot can fly the mission and operate the system, eliminating the need for a second person in the plane. | ||

Pre Flight: Create Flight Plan The web-based flight management tools allow customers to chart new missions and to define specific imaging targets within each mission. A new mission can be created directly on a Google map or a previous mission can be used. To create a flight path the linear mode is used for plotting way points or the polygonal mode for area mapping.. The flight path can be created by the pilot or a staff member. |

In Flight: Fly the mission Using the onboard laptop, pilots can easily fly the flight path by staying within indicated flight path boundaries. Points of interest can be marked or tagged for immediate transmission to ground or stored for later evaluation. Employ one of the many camera options that include still and video cameras using visible light or infrared imaging. Capture imagery with embedded GPS and positioning data. During the mission, flight data can be shared using the onboard broadband communications link via the Mobile Ground Station or a 3G network if within a coverage area. The onboard laptop display shows the plane instrument status with a large display and three small displays which can be a moving map flight path, a small IR camera view and a small daylight camera video view. The large display is typically the moving map with the plane location and the flight path boundaries. Boundaries are visual cues to assist the pilot to stay within the field of view of the camera. Streaming video, point of Interest images, and object tracking georeferenced to a Google map can be viewed in real time on the ground. Multiple users have access to real time data; the camera in the aircraft can be controlled from the ground; and users can provide immediate response. |

| Post Flight Management System | ||
| Upon completing the mission, pilots can use their private account to automatically upload flight data from the laptop to the Sky IMD website, where the mission data can then be reviewed, analyzed and archived. | ||

Dynamic Visualization Dynamic visualization allows the user to select a mission and see a digital video (moving map) of the entire mission. Use the video controls for play, pause, fast forward and rewind. Enter GPS coordinates to go to a specific location. Use the zoom control on each image to see more detail. Switch between Map, Satellite or Hybrid Views. |

| Web Hosting and Database Management Systems | ||
| In recent years, digital surveillance has proved to be an effective way to collect information for a variety of applications. In order to keep pace with the growing demand for digital surveillance, a vast amount of video needs to be processed automatically. In particular, objects and regions need to be segmented and labeled to enable other automated video processing, such as event detection, summarization, indexing and high level video understanding. The SkyFusionPakTM website allows customers to process and organize enormous quantities of aerial digital surveillance data. Web hosting provides: long term storage, backup and other technologies to prevent data loss, data and file system management, world wide 24/7 access, multiple user access to live and archived data, editing and analysis of stored data, as well as other features to effectively use the data collected. |
