Pre Flight: Create Flight Plan The web-based flight management tools allow customers to chart new missions and to define specific imaging targets within each mission. A new mission can be created or a previous mission can be used. To create a flight path the linear mode is used for plotting way points. The flight path can be created by the pilot or a staff member. |

In Flight: Fly the mission Using the onboard laptop, pilots can easily fly the flight path by staying within indicated flight path boundaries. Points of interest can be marked or tagged for immediate transmission to ground or stored for later evaluation. Employ one of the many camera options that include still and video cameras using visible light or infrared imaging. Capture imagery with embedded GPS and positioning data. During the mission, flight data can be shared using the onboard broadband communications link. |
