SkyFusion Pak

SkyFusion Pak is an integrated suite of component products and software designed to create an affordable turn-key solution for aerial digital surveillance applications. With SkyFusion Pak you can manage all aspects of aerial imaging, including pre-flight planning, in-flight image capture with real time video streaming to the ground, and comprehensive post-flight image analysis.
SkyFusion Pak Airborne System

Camera Pod
The SkyFusion Pak camera pod is FAA-certified for mounting on the wing strut or on the aircraft belly with a cable harness running through the wing to the cabin. The camera pod is capable of housing a variety of commercially available still photography, video or infrared cameras.

Onboard Laptop
The laptop is a "carry-on" item, configured with SkyFusion Pak software that manages the data collected from the camera pod. Accurate aircraft positioning sensors and GPS antenna provide positioning data that is integrated with each image frame.

Airborne Communication System
Any communication capabilities in the Aircraft will be "carry-on" equipment only, and can include broadband communication, custom microwave links and satellite communications. SkyFusion Pak can be adapted to work with any customer furnished communication system.

Mission Management System
The SkyFusion Pak Flight Management System combines pre-flight, in-flight and post-flight operations into a single, integrated, user-friendly experience for pilots or operators.

Pre Flight: Create Flight Plan
The web-based flight management tools allow customers to chart new missions and to define specific imaging targets within each mission. A new mission can be created or a previous mission can be used. To create a flight path the linear mode is used for plotting way points. The flight path can be created by the pilot or a staff member.

In Flight: Fly the mission
Using the onboard laptop, pilots can easily fly the flight path by staying within indicated flight path boundaries. Points of interest can be marked or tagged for immediate transmission to ground or stored for later evaluation. Employ one of the many camera options that include still and video cameras using visible light or infrared imaging. Capture imagery with embedded GPS and positioning data. During the mission, flight data can be shared using the onboard broadband communications link.

Google Maps Overlay
View images on a Google map. Switch between Map, Satellite or Hybrid Views.

Dynamic Visualization
Dynamic visualization allows the user to select a mission and see a digital video (moving map) of the entire mission. Use the video controls for play, pause, fast forward and rewind.
